This was the view out of the rear guard's window looking towards the station and the edge of town. We are just crossing the Landsborough Highway, which is the bitumen you can see in the right hand corner.

We were up early today for the Gulflander “Billy Tea and Damper Excursion”, a special run they do on Saturdays in the dry season.
