Orange Amphitheatre

Built about 40 BC, this amphitheatre is a World Heritage Site. To give you an idea of the size, the statue in this picture is about 11 feet (3.5 meters) high.

1 July 2014 - Today we decided to go to the lavender fields around the area we are staying, which included Gordes. In doing research, I was thinking Gordes looked familiar and, indeed, we had been here before, on the last trip. Kevin had to remind me this is my third trip to Provence.
