They actually used to put a huge chain link across the Golden Horn to protect Istanbul from ship attacts. It already had a big wall...which is still there.

After a good night's sleep, we were energized to see the Topkapi Palace, Istanbul Archaeology Museum and take a cruise up the Bosphorus Straight to the Black Sea.
