Khmer Rouge Deserters grave

This grave site was one that contained people who belonged to the Khmer Rouge. They were killed for desertion, or suspicion that they were not loyal to the regime. It didn't take much, just a little bit of suspicion from a fellow member was enough to get you killed. This site was found to contain only headless bodies.

So 5 days into Cambodia and it had been all fun and games. We had had a great time in Seim Reap and were headed off to Phnom Penh.
