Hello Judith: Thank you for your diary while in York. The shot of your room at Becket reminded me of my 'bed-sit' in London. Only mine was not painted lilac, and had a gas meter that seemed to eat pennies - the old ones! I sense too a feeling that you cannot go back 'home', with your encounter in finding the right house! Thanks for the memories!
