My philosopher of my choice is Poet Maya Angelou. Angelou was born April 4th 1928 in St. Louis, Missouri. The poet began her career in the early stages of her twenties. She started off being an actor for broad way plays, and making more of a career by making albums. Later on , she was encouraged to write about her life by a fellow friend and writer James Baldwin. However, when being encouraged, things were just only the beginning for the young poet. After releasing her book, she instantly became a New York Times best -seller, and she sold over millions of copies of her books. Over the years, when it came to poetry and books, Maya could never be competed with. She was known as one of the best writers of the US ,and that furthermore she began to be awarded for her accomplishments, and it was a dream come true for the poet. What was enlightening about Angelou was that she stood out the most when it came to her writing. She talked about the real-life experiences of her life and how things were for her as grew older. Soon, her stories brought happiness to other people's lives because many people could relate to her, and that people admire her work. To conclude, her writing brought and impact to the world, and that her creative ways allowed a lot of people to relate to her
