I'd say the biggest Christmas tradition here is the Christmas cake. Before I thought this was a creation of the Japanese since we don't really have this tradition in America, but the British English teacher, Nick, informed me that this tradition comes from England.

Happy Holidays everyone!!! No, I did not go back to the U.S. for the holidays. I guess Christmas was a little lonely without my family, but it actually turned out pretty nice.
