Alaska - Day 11 - Gig Harbor and Seattle August 24th 2013 We visited Gig Harbor and thoroughly enjoyed the eclectic shops and and relaxed atmosphere. We were blessed to be enjoying this outing with dear friends that we do not see often enough.
The memorial statue captured my attention and a local resident came over to tell of it's historical significance in memorializing those who developed the harbor area.
