The Heights Above Arromanches

I decided we should view the non-American beachheads first. So today we headed due East along the coast toward the British and Canadian invasion zones. Upon leaving Arromanches we headed uphill to another one of those Norman chalk cliffs. This one rose above Arromanches and Gold Beach, the furthest west of the British beaches. You can still see how far the mulberry extended beyond Arromanches.
