Yasukuni Shrine

This is the shrine that houses the kami or spirits of those who died for the Emperor. It has been controversial as it houses spirits of Class A war criminals from WWII. More troubling to me was the attached museum which gave a very distorted view of that war, portraying Japan as the victim of others!
