We left bright and early on a very cold morning when we were headed to Johannesburg in Alberton to my best friends traditional ceremony called "Umemulo" (where when a girl is 21 years or older, a ritual is done and a cow is slaughtered in her presents and a piece of skin of the cow from the leg is cut and put on the girl's right hand and it is called "Isiphandla").
