Our bus ride from San Cristobal to Palenque was again rather adventurous. Apart from the very curvy and bumpy road we got pulled over by the police which delayed our journey by over two hours. We have no idea why we got stopped, probably it was the speeding of our crazy driver :) As a result of that we arrived in Palenque at 1.30am with no place to stay.
