The bright orange flowers of this tree contain a drug which makes people completely incapable, and extremely impressionable. It's been used in the past as a truth serum, and is put to good use today by Colombia's local muggers...!
Hiking in Choachin May 23rd 2012 Some photos of another weekend day-trip to the mountains, this time around a village about one hour to the east of Bogotá.
