To me, this is the most spectacular sight in Rome. I know it is possible to explain how you can construct a dome with a hole at the top, but it still seems impossible.

I'm making a 30 year anniversary trip to Italy in mid-September. I'm mainly going to Reggio Calabria, an area I've never been before. I want to see "I Bronzi," two incredible Greek statues that were discovered in the water off Riace back in 1980.
