French guy watering the plants
I got off the train in a little town thinking I was still on the Spanish side of the border, went to ask a lady in a shop for some cardboard and a pen to make me a hitch-hiking sign, and got greeted with my first "Bonjour!". Doh!

I got intouch with my mate Olivier who I met in Bolivia last year and it turned out he was now living in a little surf town down the south of France so thought it'd be rude not to go up and visit him while I was close... well turned out it wasn't as close as I thought, but I made it there after a little mission involving a train, some desperate sign language and half a dozen friendly people who pi ... read more

I'm russ, I'm from New Zealand and have developed a love for travelling over the last couple of years. It was the best descision of my life for sure, breaking the routine and heading off to explore the globe, and I would highly recommend getting out there and having a close up look and anything that you've read about or heard about that intrests you, because if it looks cool on TV, I can garuntee you that it'll be even cooler when you are there amoungst it.
