They Have to Be Canadians
Our EF tour guide, Jurgen, often jokes about his experiences leading Canadian school kids through Europe in the dead of Winter. He wears layer after layer of clothing plus a ski jacket with hood over his head, while the Canucks walk around in shorts and sandals. Our gang of four were wearing our warmest clothes of the trip and still seeking shelter from the cold rain at every open shop. These students toting EF backpacks seemed content to stand around in their hoodies in the midst of the frigid mist discussing the latest in Chinese imitation beer steins.
