Sad Buddha
This was outside one of the oldest temples in Penang. Normally you see happy buddhas and you rub their tummy for good luck. However they believe that wherever there in happiness there must be sadness to balance it!

So fresh faced and naive we arrived in Singapore. You don’t appreciate just how lazy you get travelling round Oz, but it took us a while to get back into the whole backpacker thing!
