Monday morning - up at 5am - caught the cross-town bus taking people home from the casino - 7am Greyhound - 7 hours on the bus - moved about a thumbs-width on the Australia map...but we did see our first wild Kangaroo from the window! We started this travel blog in 2005 when we set off on a ten-month around-the-world trip with a couple of backpacks and not much else. In 2008, we emigrated to New Zealand with four suitcases and a guitar and spent the first month travelling throughout the country, from Auckland to Christchurch, via a roundabout route.
