It took 3.5 hours and $2.00 with a suicidal bus driver to get to Vang Vieng. We took the local bus rather than a tourist bus to save a bit of cash. Although everything is cheap here, when we have a budget every dollar counts. I wish I would've spent the extra couple bucks though.
