Well, Jaipur was interesting. I (David) saw around a fantastically ornate Amber Palace from the 16th century in the shadow of an awesome sandstone hill fort which looked like the great wall of China. Tourists were shipped in on elephant back wearing fake maharajah gold-lame’ turbans. All very authentic.
