After a restful night at my cousin Pum's house (and a much nicer view of London this time) I'm now finally here in York. For the record, guidebooks are incorrigble - a pleasant 15 minute stroll to the hostel like hell. Try a good 45 minutes to an hour away - and Pum's huge, heavy rolling bag I foolishly decided to swap for my light, comfortable backpack is not doing me any favours at all. Argh. ... read more
