The Man Across from Us

This is the gentleman that sat across from Gretchen and I on the train from La Spezia to Rome. Poor guy just wanted to do a crossword puzzle, but couldn't concentrate because of the loud couple from Colorado! At one point I offered him a cookie, but he declined it. Then I offered him my iPod and earphones to drown out the noise, and he laughed. Now if this guy doesn't look Italian, I don't know who does.

Buon giorno! Gretchen and I have just left Venezia (Venice) and are currently on a train going to Firenze (Florence), home of the Italian Renaissance . We had a wonderful time in Venice.
