First WWOOF Experience October 19th 2006 After a few days in Glasgow, we boarded a train to the port town of Oban on the west coast and took a ferry to the Isle of Mull where we began our first WWOOFing experience. Hi everybody. Most of you know I recently quit my job in the corporate world in the pursuit of something a little more "human." But before jumping into something new, I wanted to take some time off and experience some new places and people in Europe where I'd never been before. So my brother and I left the East Coast in mid-September and plan to travel up until Christmas. Our aim is to not jump around and try to see too much, but pick a handful of places and stay for a week or so at a time to really soak in the cultures.
