Wow! Where to start with Mongolia? In English, that was fantastic! In American, that was freaking awesome! In French - C'était incroyable! In Mongol, it is simply GOY (great)! Leaving from Irkutsk, it was a 42 hour train journey to the Mongolian capital of Ulaanbataar (colloquially referred to as UB). As our train was quite empty the provodnista (carriage attendant) rearranged everybody so ... read more
