On July 9 1960, Roger Woodward inadvertently became the first person to go over the falls unaided and survive; he was protected only by a lifejacket and an embarrassingly large amount of luck. He had been upstream in a small boat with his sister Deanne and his uncle Jim when their vessel had developed engine trouble. July 2006 - July 2007: I embarked on a round the world trip with the small distraction of two semesters of study at McGill University in Montreal, Canada.
The blogs of this trip take place from to
November 2008 - current: About to embark on another RTW adventure, this time with the small distraction of working at Breckenridge Ski Resort in Colorado. Then onwards to Europe and Eastwards.
