Day 20: Lake Titicaca and Puno

Our host mama woke us up for breakfast at 7.30am. We met the rest of our group at the wharf and caught the boat to Taquile Island, where we spent about 3 hours. We hiked around the island to the village where we learnt about the local culture. On this island the boys knit for hours a day, and the girls weave waistbands.
