I've been in and around Quito since I got back from the Galapagos Islands and it's been quite an interesting time... first of all I raced up to the equator to see how the water flushes on the other side of the world and sure as eggs, it does infact go the other way!!!!!! I couldn't believe it, they've got this little sink right, and when they pull the plug over the equator the water goes straight ... read more

I'm russ, I'm from New Zealand and have developed a love for travelling over the last couple of years. It was the best descision of my life for sure, breaking the routine and heading off to explore the globe, and I would highly recommend getting out there and having a close up look and anything that you've read about or heard about that intrests you, because if it looks cool on TV, I can garuntee you that it'll be even cooler when you are there amoungst it.
