Starting in St Petersberg our route took us overnight to Moscow, While there were many short stops along the way (and we are now official railway station critics) our key stop offs on this iconic train journey were; Irkutsk home of Lake Baikal which took four days from the Russian capital, two and a half more days sees us into the Mongolian capital Ulanbataar and then one more day to Beijing. ... read more
