Apart from the occasional crash or hijacking (seriously!), travelling by bus in Peru is pretty easy and safe – if you go with a good company, which travels during daylight hours, that is. David and Kirsten's most excellent adventure... We don't really have a set itinerary, we arrive in a town, book for a few nights then stay longer if we want!
