Life's a beach... until the rains came down and the floods came up December 27th 2010 Since leaving the UK in August, we have been through quite a bit. Crazy bus rides, constant travellers tummy troubles, foul breathed camels and an overnighter in a Tibetan Hospital had all started to take their toll. We were feeling just a bit jaded and keen to get back to the Southern Hemisphere for the first time in nearly five years.

A couple of mid 20 year olds, started this blog back in 2006. We left our homeland of New Zealand and set off on our trip of a lifetime.
These entries follow our travels from our New Zealand to London and back again. Total geeks - no Las Vegas or full moon parties here. We used '1001 Natural wonders' to plan our trips. Sometimes riding 5 hours on the back of a motorbike to see a waterfall or random rock formation.
