Today we did a biomass survey. We divided into groups and performed 3 tasks. We collected leaf litter and then weighed it. Then we counted the number of various sized plants in a 2x2 meter square. Lastly we named every tree within a meter of the trail for 200 meters. We also measured their diameter at breast height and estimated their height.
