Nelson under Wraps

Nelson's Column has just undergone a major clean and restoration. For the first three months we were here, this was the view available... even the lions were covered up. The banners over the scaffolding were calling attention to climate change, and were different on each side. I particularly liked the giant squid, depicted wrapped around the column in a London under water.
