Friday 22nd October 2010. Packed up in the sprinkling rain and headed south in search of the Valley of the Giant Trees. Reached Pemberton and visited the Gloucester Tree. 61m of tree 159 pegs and a bit of fencing chain (not mesh!) acting as the safety mechanism. This would not be allowed in NSW!!
