These tastefully decorated trishaws are the main form of transport for visitors to Melaka. Each one is equipped, nay armed, with its own sound system (just to the right of the saddle in the photo). We step off a terrifyingly bumpy flight from Kota Bharu (nearest mainland airport to the Perhentian Islands) into Kuala Lumpur's huge international airport.
