September 2, 2006 Today we got a lovely wake up call…at 5:30 in the morning! It is absolutely insane. We had to get ready quickly so we could beat the tourists (hmmm, I’m a tourist…) to the Vatican. i'm a texan, i love it up on the plains where you can see pretty much as far as the eye can see. the storms, oh yes, storms. i love them all. even the heat is wonderful. it is the most beautiful place to me in the world. then again i haven't seen much of it. so i started in india, which was wonderful, but now, i'm going to italy. i'll be living among a history and culture so rich with tradition that i'm sure to be overwhelmed. wish me luck!... full info
