Famously fabulous
Such a famous strip of road in LA! I believe it's featured in the opening of Entourage?? Regardless Santa Monica Blvd is a good time! Though can be a bit scary at night if you don't know the do's and don'ts. If you are looking for a big main street with lots of shopping and great restaurants I strongly recommend traveling about 90 minutes North to Santa Barbara. Gorgeous beach town with a ton of things to do on and off their main street State street. I travel in and around Southern California/LA/Santa Barbara all the time and I preferably like it better! A great place to stay would be the Sandman Inn (www.thesandmaninn.com). Really affordable and in a great location. It's a steal!
