Lake Abert

The stillness here was strong. But out on the ridge I could hear every now and than the mountain goats, but they blended in so well, I couldn't see any. To think this whole valley was filled with water many thousands upon thousands of years ago. The geology is really amazing in the state of Oregon. After all, it's a bunch of volcano's and faults, this area is constantly changing. As the molten lava still runs below, and the plates are always in a constant pressure power war.
