Ginger flower

One of the colourful flowers found at the Hope Botanical Gardens in eastern Kingston. Ginger seems to be the spice par preferance (perhaps after pimento) to Jamaicans.

After 9.5 hours travel from London, we arrived at Norman Manley airport, Kingston, Jamaica. We were picked up by my colleagues T & C, and got our first lessons in what Jamaica is like.
