The shell quarry

During times gone by, this area here was a quarry. The 'sand' is actually millions of tiny shells which over time have stuck together. Many old buildings around here were built with blocks carved out of here.

Well, I escaped from Perth like a bat outa hell - having felt like I was there for far too long! We drove and drove until we arrived at a nice free camp not to far from Kalbarri.
