After getting the begeezus scared out of us on the ice skating rink known as the Newcastle Highway, we somehow glided into the luminescence of Thirsk, Yorkshire. Finding no room for the car at the inne, we parked here in the square before checking in.
Day Eight - Heading South of the Border

Another day with an early start. This would be the longest drive of the trip so far and we needed to make a number of stops along the way yet still arrive at our destination before the New Year's revelers got out in full force.
