There she is. Because so many crazy people have tried to steal and/or destroy her over the years, she is housed behind glass and visitors must remain about 30 feet back.

The day started late - Robarn woke me at 8:30! I had slept almost 12 hours (I guess that's what jet lag does to you). I was worried that we would be unable to see the Louvre today because all the guide books say you MUST get there before it opens (at 9 am) to avoid all the lines.
