Slowest express train to Monsoon Island May 20th 2010 Oh the luck we’ve been having. After being in the hospital for 4 days we thought the best thing would be somewhere warm and quiet to recover fully from being sick. Palau Langkawi seemed the perfect spot, on the west coast of Malaysia, practically on the Malay-Thai border. There once was a girl from Vancouver who traveled to Cuba with a friend for some much needed time away. While there she met a young man on vacation with his family. They became friends and kept in touch for many years.
