Otavalo is a town about 2.5 hours from Quito. It is where they have a huge market. We all visited it this weekend. We got up mega early in the morning to go to the animal markets. These start at about 5am and finish and 8am. We went to the small animal market at 6.30am where they sell cats, chickens, guinea pigs and dogs.
