Yesterday we were up and out of the hotel shortly after 9:00 for a 9:30 appointment at the Imperial Palace and a private viewing of a sealed temple. Traveling is something that needs to be shared, to enjoy new discoveries with friends, and to warn against unpleasant surprises of which there can be many. I particularly enjoy seeing new landscape, scenery, nature and the natural beauty of open spaces and mountains. I don't search out new foods and culinary exotica. I do enjoy a good meal and new flavours - but only if I can recognize what I am eating.
