Most of the prision structures are in good repair and open to tourists.
Our last South America stop….Devil’s Island in French Guiana.

Tuesday, March 9, 2010 - Devil’s Island is one of three islands called the Salvation Islands. We went ashore on Ile Royale which was home to the prison administration buildings and several cell blocks.
