Március 25. a függetlenség napja Görögországban. Ezen a napon kezdődött a függetlenségi háború, és ennek az évfordulóját ünneplik szerte az országban. Az utcákon, a házakon a gyerekek és a felnőttek kezében, mindenfelé görög zászlók láthatók, felvonulásokat és táncokat rendeznek.
