Amazing Allahabad
December 25th 2009 From the exotic delights of Khajuraho on to the amazing Allahabad...we came into the city over this huge huge suspension bridge spannin a huge river. Allahabad sits on the confluence of the Ganges and the...rivers. There is also said to be a third underground river. We hadn't heard of it previously..only of the more wellknown Varanasi (akar Benares) as eing a holy place for bathing in the river
