Writhing with Rats

The title says it all - after negotiating with our driver, we made a side trip to the famous rat temple, 30km south of Bikaner, “Karni Mata Mandir”. Our guide for the morning visit to the havalis in Bikaner was very keen to come along, as it brought great good fortune to see the white rat.
