I think I shall start with Strasbourg. Strasbourg is the city furthest to the east in France. Directly east of it is Germany. There is a lot of German influence in Strasbourg because of this reason. I am in Thionville, France. It is a city of about 45,000 inhabitants (ooo big word!) and is located in the Moselle region (northeast France) which is near Luxembourg and Germany! I have had three host families. I have seen so many wonderous people, places and things so far. If one couldn't guess, I am very happy to be given this opportunity. If all goes well, I will be back in the States in the middle of July! I want to thank my mother, who I hope will check this every day even if I don't post it every day.
