Our short visit to southern Germany turned out to be a mixed bag for us on this trip. We entered via Austria and made our way past some beautiful lakes towards the town of Fussen. Like everyone else, we went to the area to visit the famous Neuschwanstein Castles. This fairytale castle was apparently the inspiration for the castle at Disneyland!
